Drop-in Networking Starter Kit includes:
ConnectPort X8 Gateway (1) -
ZigBee-to-Ethernet model; collects data traffic from ZigBee-enabled devices, in this case via the two included XBee
adapters or the two XBee
modules, and transports that traffic to a central software application or database over its Ethernet connection. The
ConnectPort X8 is also available with ZigBee-to-cellular or ZigBee-to-Wi-Fi connectivity.
XBee RS-232 Adapter (1) -
Provides wireless ZigBee connectivity to any RS-232 serial device.
XBee Sensor Adapter (1) -
Provides wireless ZigBee connectivity to the included Watchport/T temperature sensor (or any other Watchport
sensor).
XBee Modules and Development Boards (2) -
Provide embeddable ZigBee capability for integration into original product designs (e.g., sensors, meters, pumps,
controllers).
Watchport/T Temperature Sensor (1) -
Plug-and-play sensor connects to the XBee Sensor adapter for remote temperature monitoring.
